Keanu will be participating in The Gr8 Race at Gymea Bay Public School

Does your team have what it takes to win the Gr8 Race?

The Motiv8sports GR8 Race is set to be an incredible event, as each team races off on a journey around the “globe” to visit as many countries as possible.

On the 15th of October students will arrive at the Gymea Bay School oval to be greeted by a sports dreamworld comprised of multiple countries, each country a unique, incredible activity or challenge to be completed.

Inflatable starting gates welcome our racers as the D.J drops the beat and they set off on a journey to visit as many countries as possible. Each completed country earns a stamp on your passport as students work in teams to see if they have what it takes to win the GR8 Race. Students gain sponsors for completing the GR8 Race to fundraise for the school. All funds raised go towards a playground upgrade, kitchen for the hall and various new sports equipment.

There is a 60-minute time limit as the Motiv8sports DJ makes announcements, enforces penalties, offers bonuses, and reminds teams of the rules. There’s no set path for the GR8 Race, teams will have to work together to make decisions about which countries to visit in what order. Each country's activity involves sport, music, dance, problem solving or adventure-based learning. 

Which Team will use their Teamwork, Communication and Collaboration to be CROWNED CHAMPIONS!

This event has an entry fee of $15 which will be collected by the school. 

All we need is for each student to get their online fundraising started and send it out to family & friends. This will help us raise fund for the Infants playground, new kitchen for the school hall and much needed sports equipment for the whole school. 

In addition to an incredible days entertainment students have the chance to win awesome prizes for their fund raising efforts. 

The student with the highest fundraising efforts in the school will win a $500 Fraser’s Bikes voucher plus a gift basket full of lollies, chocolates, and treats! 

 But that’s not all! For every $10 raised, students will receive an entry into the prize draw:

• Prize 1: Razor Scooter + $100 Westfield Voucher

• Prize 2: Goodies Gift Basket + $50 Events Voucher

The more you raise, the more chances you have to win

Our  ultimate goal is to raise $20,000 so to incentive students there will be exciting milestone rewards along the way:
