The Gr8 Race at Terrigal Public School

Get ready for an action-packed, high-energy global adventure.

The Motiv8sports GR8 Race is transforming Terrigal Public School into a world of sport, teamwork and excitement.

On Friday 11 September 2026, students will race in teams to visit as many “countries” as possible, with each country activity involving sport, music, dance, problem solving or adventure-based learning. 

The event will include:

• An inflatable Ninja Warrior course
• Multiple slip and slide challenges
• Giant inflatable soccer dart board
• High-energy team-based activities

The music will be pumping and teams will navigate the course to get as many stamps on their team passport as each country challenge is completed.

Fundraising for Our School

Funds raised through this event will go directly towards brand new playground equipment for our top and bottom playgrounds. All students at Terrigal Public School will benefit from our new playground equipment.

How to Participate

Getting started is simple:

1. Register
   Use the link below to get your child/ren registered for the event.
2. Share
   Once registered, each child will receive a personal fundraising link. Share it via text, email or social media with friends and family.

In addition to an incredible day's entertainment students have the chance to win awesome prizes for their fundraising efforts. 

Fundraising for Our School

Funds raised from this event will go directly towards the six new playground installations which are currently being finalised and will be installed throughout our school grounds. 

Individual Prizes

• Every student who fundraises $10 (excluding registration fee) goes into the draw for a family Pass to The Australian Reptile Park - donated by the Reptile Park. Drawn Monday 14 September at our slime assembly.
• $50 draw prize – If you raise $50 you earn a ticket to go into the draw to win one of three mystery prize packs. Mystery prize packs vary and may include some of the following items: LeoKids sunglasses, Kids Activity Pack, Hoyts Movie Ticket, Time Zone Free Games Pass, Flip Out Voucher. Drawn Friday 21 August.   
• $100 draw prize – If you raise $100 you earn a ticket to go into the draw to win one of three Bodyboards donated by ESS Erina and Terrigal PS P&C. Drawn Friday 28 August.
• The top two Highest Fundraising students win either a bike package from 99 Bikes Gosford value up to $500 OR a Trek Precaliber 24 bike kindly donated by Erina Bikeworx. PLUS they get to slime a teacher (and maybe our Principal, Mrs MacDonald, if we raise $50k). Winners announced Monday 14 September at our slime assembly.

Special class bonus

• Class with most profiles registered by 12pm Thursday 6 August (Week 3) will win a Domino's pizza party - donated by the P&C. Winning class announced Friday 7 August. In the event that more than one class have the highest % of students registered, these classes will go into a draw to win the pizza party.
• The overall highest fundraising class will win an ice cream pyjama party - donated by Terrigal Ice Creamery. Winning class announced Monday 14 September at our slime assembly. In the event that more than one class have the raised the highest amount, these classes will go into a draw to win the ice cream pyjama party.

Whole School Goal – Teachers Slimed!

For every $5k raised, a teacher will be slimed at our slime assembly on Monday 14 September.

If we reach $30K, Mrs Slattery gets slimed. If we reach $50k Mrs MacDonald, our Principal, will be slimed by our two highest fundraising students.
