The Gr8 Race at St Pauls Gateshead

Does your team have what it takes to win the Gr8 Race?

The Motiv8sports GR8 Race is set to be an incredible event, as each team races off on a journey around the “globe” to visit as many countries as possible.

On the 25th of September students will arrive at St Pauls to be greeted by a sports dreamworld comprised of multiple countries, each country a unique, incredible activity or challenge to be completed.

Inflatable starting gates welcome our racers as the D.J drops the beat and they set off on a journey to visit as many countries as possible. Each completed country earns a stamp on your passport as students work in teams to see if they have what it takes to win the GR8 Race. Students gain sponsors for completing the GR8 Race to fundraise for the school.

All funds raised from the event, will go towards much needed improvements at our school over the coming year/s. 

There is a 60-minute time limit as the Motiv8sports DJ makes announcements, enforces penalties, offers bonuses, and reminds teams of the rules. There’s no set path for the GR8 Race, teams will have to work together to make decisions about which countries to visit in what order. Each country's activity involves sport, music, dance, problem solving or adventure-based learning.

To get started is as simple as...

1. REGISTER YOUR CHILD ASAP: use the link below to get your child/ren registered for the event.

2. START RAISING FUNDS WITH THE CLICK OF A BUTTON: Once registered, a unique fundraising link will appear on your child's page. Copy & send this via Messenger, text, WhatsApp or email to friends and family who can then easily donate!  

All we need is for each student to get their online fundraising portal set up and send it out to family & friends. 

FUNDRAISING BONUS - get behind our fundraising efforts as;

• 1^st class to all have students registered on the fundraising platform will have a crazy sock day.
• For every $10 a child raises they will receive a ticket into the raffle- We have some awesome prizes! 2x day passes to Sydney Action Park (formerly Raging Waters), Wildnet Newcastle Vouchers and Springloaded passes, just to name a few. 
• Once your class raises $1500 students will get an out of uniform day. 
• Once your class raises $2000 the class will receive a movie afternoon, including snacks.
• The class to raise the most money (pro rata of numbers) will have a pizza party lunch in Term 4.

There'll be bonus prizes and give aways on the day.
