The Glass House Mountains SS GR8 Race School Fundraiser is coming! 

Does your team have what it takes to win the GR8 Race?

Get ready — the Motiv8sports GR8 Race is coming to Glass House Mountains State School on Friday 21 November 2025! The oval will be transformed into a sports dream world, comprised of multiple countries, each country a unique, incredible activity or challenge to be completed. There is no set path, but for the 90-minute, time-limited GR8 Race, teams will have to work together to make decisions about which countries to visit in what order. Each country's activity or challenge involves sport, music, dance, problem solving or adventure-based learning. 

Inflatable starting gates will welcome our racers as the D.J drops the beat, and they set off on a journey to visit as many countries as possible. Each completed country earns a sticker/stamp on their passport as students work in teams to see if they have what it takes to win the GR8 Race. Students gain sponsors for completing the GR8 Race to fundraise for the school!

All 'FUN' aside, we are also aiming for this to be our biggest fundraiser of the year.  We would appreciate parent/ carers support in helping their child/ren gain sponsorship for completing the GR8 Race. 

There is a $10 entry fee per student. This will go towards the cost of hosting the event, payable when registering. 

There will be two sessions on the day as follows:

Session 1 - 9.00 to 10.30am - Years 4, 5 & 6

Session 2 - 11.10 to 1.05pm - Prep to Year 3

1. REGISTER YOUR CHILD ASAP

2. START RAISING FUNDS WITH THE CLICK OF A BUTTON
Once registered, a unique fundraising link will appear on your child's page. Copy and share it with family and friends via Messenger, text message, WhatsApp or email to make it super easy for them to donate! 

Funds raised by the P&C go into school resources and projects that make a difference for our kids.

3. GO INTO THE DRAW TO WIN INCREDIBLE PRIZES
In addition to an action-packed day’s entertainment, for every $10 raised, students will get 1 entry into the raffle draw to win epic prizes! The more funds raised, the more chances you'll have to win!
